I want to buy a couple of really good knives (read: three at between $ 150-$ 300 a piece), and would like to get a magnetic knife holder to mount on the wall to display them while they are not in use.

I have just bought the Try-Ply Calphalon stainless steel fry pan. The problem is that its only been a week and its all brown and burnt from the inside. Whatever I am trying to heat up in that pan it’s sticking to it. I have followed every “care for your cookware” directions, I have even put dishwashing soap with boiling hot water into the pan and have left it sit there and have tried to remove the burnt stains…but they just wont budge.

I have a big boxer who drools a lot. I simply fill his food bowl daily, even if there is slobber in the bowl. I rinse his water bowl daily to get rid of the slime, but only wash his bowls (stainless steel) in hot soapy water on the weekend.
Am I a lazy pet owner? Should his bowls be washed daily as he is such a “drooly” dog? What do other big dog owners do?

I recently purchased a chess set from House of Staunton. The pieces are made of ebony (black) and boxwood (white). I’m having a tough time figuring out what type of wood will look good with the pieces. Do I want an ebony board as well so both the board and pieces will be black and white? I think Indiana give you two choices. An advisory board or a controlling board. I do not think are board is legally set up as a controlling board. There is a disagreement among board members as to what we are considered. What state office would verify this? Is a controlling board suppose to be chosen by its members not by the board itself? An advisory board can be set up that way but a controlling board? We do not have any pass records stating this to are knowledge. How do you go from changing from an advisory board to a controlling board?
